Can an AI assistant drive Framer?
Yes, and it can change things rather than only report on them. There is no MCP server and Framer says so outright, because its own agent connection does the job instead. Claude Code, Cursor and Codex edit the canvas, create and change components, and create, update and delete CMS items. They cannot touch the published live site: every change branches automatically so you review it before it goes out.
